The invention relates to an auxiliary handle device, especially for a hand-held power tool (12a-f), comprising an auxiliary handle (14a-f) and a damping unit (16a-f) that is equipped with at least one damping element (18a, 20a-f), said damping element being at least partially produced of an elastic material. The auxiliary handle device according to the invention is characterized in that the damping unit (16a-f) has at least one adjusting unit (22a-f) that is adapted to adjust a characteristic damping variable of the damping element (18a, 20a-f).
